Weeping Spangles are birds who have a feature similar an Anglerfish's light, but with a ball on the tip instead. The ball is actually toxic, and if somebody gets touched by it, become sick beyond healing. They have a feather pattern similar to the blue and star part of the American flag, and have a call that sounds like weeping, hence the name Weeping Spangles.
